Solar globe lights, 100 multicolour LEDs on 59 ft, 8 modes

About this product

The string has 100 multicolour globe LEDs in plastic on 59 ft (about 18 m) of bendable wire, with a 360 degree view of each light. A solar panel charges it in the daytime and a light sensor switches the lights on in the dark. The listing says a full day of sun gives 8 to 12 hours of light at night.

There are eight modes: combination, fireflies flashing, waves, fading, chasing flashing, fading slowly, twinkle flashing and steady on. The rating is IP65 and the listing gives it for indoor and outdoor use. The specifications list one AA battery as included, while the description says no battery replacement is needed.

What to use it for

At about 18 m, the string can drape along a fence, a balcony rail or a gazebo edge, with the panel placed where the sun reaches.

Care and safety

Wipe the solar panel and the globes with a damp cloth when they are dusty.
