5 m battery fairy lights, 50 warm white LEDs on copper wire, 3 x AA

About this product

This string has 50 warm white LEDs on 5 m of copper wire, spaced 10 cm apart, and weighs 60 g. The wire is flexible and can be cut to length, and the listing suggests wrapping it round trees, fireplaces, garlands, plants and signs.

The battery box takes 3 AA batteries, which are not included, and has an on and off button. It is compact enough to hide. IP44 is the rating given, and the string, excluding the battery box, is described as submersible. Named uses run from dorms and windows to porches, fences and tents.

What to use it for

A 5 m string covers a 1.2 m mantelpiece with slack to spare, or wraps a small tree, a wreath or a shelf. The battery box hides behind a frame or a pot.

Care and safety

Only the wire is described as submersible, so keep the battery box dry and take the batteries out before storing the string. Wind the wire loosely.
