Globe fairy lights, 100 LEDs on 15 m, USB or battery powered

About this product

The string has 100 warm white globe LEDs (G40 size) along 15 m, and the material is listed as PVC. The description gives 12 m for the lit part plus a 3 m power cord. You can power it from a USB supply or from a battery case that takes 3 AA batteries. The listed contents are the string and the remote, so batteries and a USB plug are not mentioned as included.

The remote switches the lights on and off, changes the brightness, sets the timer and picks one of eight modes. The remote comes with its own battery. The listing gives an IP44 rating and a 5 V supply, and the set weighs 0.54 kg.

What to use it for

Fifteen metres is enough to run around a balcony rail or a gazebo frame, and the remote lets you change the settings without reaching for the controller.

Care and safety

Keep the battery case and the USB connection under cover, and take the batteries out before storage. Wipe the globes with a damp cloth when they need it.
