Battery fairy lights, 10 m with 100 warm white LEDs, 8 modes

About this product

This is a battery-powered string of 100 warm white LEDs on a 10 m wire. The battery box takes 3 AA batteries, which the description says are not included, and has an on and off button. The set weighs 0.2 kg.

It has eight lighting modes and a timer that runs 6 hours on and 8 hours off. The listing gives an IP44 rating for the lights and the box, described as resistant to light rain and moisture, and a low voltage of 4.5 V. The wire is flexible, so the string can be shaped around a tree, a garland, a window or a shelf.

What to use it for

A 10 m string can be wound round a small tree, laid along a shelf or traced around a window frame, and the battery box means no socket is needed nearby.

Care and safety

Take the batteries out before storing the lights for the year. Wipe the wire with a dry cloth and keep the battery box out of standing water.
