8 m clear cable fairy lights, 100 warm white LEDs, remote, timer

About this product

The 100 warm white LEDs are spaced along 8 m of clear cable, followed by a 3 m lead to the transformer, so the plug does not need to sit close to the display. The LEDs run at 24 volts, and the set weighs 50 g. The material is listed as plastic.

The title lists a plug-in rocker switch, a remote control and a timer, and the spec sheet adds dimming. The included-items line names only the light set with its rocker switch. The listing says the lights are for indoor use and are not water resistant, and gives a 2-year warranty.

What to use it for

Indoors only: the 8 m string suits a bedroom shelf, a headboard or a mantelpiece, and the 3 m lead lets the transformer sit away from the display.

Care and safety

Store the lights somewhere dry, as the listing says they are not water resistant, and coil the string loosely with its transformer.
