20 m plug-in fairy lights, 200 LEDs, with remote and timer

About this product

The string has 200 warm white LEDs spaced 10 cm apart along 20 m of copper wire, with an extra 5 m of lead line. It plugs into the mains at 6 watts through a transformer, and the remote comes in the box.

The remote or the plug button selects one of eight modes, and the remote also sets the brightness to 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent. Three timers are available: 6 hours on and 18 off, 8 on and 16 off, or 6 on, 6 off, 3 on and 9 off. The lights return to the last mode chosen. They are rated IP44 for rain and snow, but the plug is not waterproof.

What to use it for

Twenty metres with a 5 m lead can wrap a tree in the garden or run along a fence, as long as the plug stays indoors or inside a waterproof box.

Care and safety

Place the plug indoors or inside a waterproof box, as the seller advises. Store the string in loose coils with the remote.
