Wooden gingerbread dollhouse kit with night light, 1:24 scale

About this product

Wooden parts build a miniature Christmas gingerbread house at 1:24 scale in this kit. Behind the red door sits a display of desserts, jams, biscuits and a coffee corner, and gingerbread men wave from the counter and the roof. The listing puts the build at about 6 hours and calls it intermediate level.

Once built it can be used as a night light, which needs 2 AAA batteries (not included). The kit is listed at 23.5 x 17.5 x 22 cm and 970 g, and it requires assembly. The age data conflicts: the text targets adults and teens, while another line gives 0 to 13 years, so check the Amazon page. On Amazon it holds 4.8 out of 5 from 65 reviews.

What to use it for

A building project for adults and teens, finished as a lit decoration for a shelf or table at Christmas.

Care and safety

Take the batteries out when the house is put away after Christmas, and dust it with a soft dry brush.
