Solar crystal ball string lights, 60 white LEDs on 11 m

About this product

The string has 60 white LEDs, each in a crystal ball, on 11 m (36 ft) of cable. A solar panel is included and charges the lights in the daytime. The weight is 0.56 kg and the material is listed as plastic, possibly with some glass elements.

The description quotes 6 to 8 hours of charging for 8 to 14 hours of light, from an 800 mAh battery, with the lights coming on at dusk. There are eight modes, and the power switch is left on so the panel keeps charging. The panel needs direct sun, and the string and panel are rated IP65. The listing gives it for outdoor use.

What to use it for

Eleven metres of ball lights can drape along a fence, a pergola or a patio edge, with the panel placed where it gets direct sunlight.

Care and safety

Keep the panel clear of leaves and dirt so it can charge, and wipe the balls with a damp cloth when they are dusty.
