The pack holds two solar strings. Each is 8 m (26.5 ft) long with 80 warm white LEDs, plus a separate 2 m (6.5 ft) lead, which gives 16 m and 160 LEDs in total. The material is listed as copper and plastic, and the box contains the two strings, a user manual and four screws.

The solar panels charge in direct sun for 6 to 8 hours, then the lights run for 8 to 14 hours, depending on the weather, and they switch on and off automatically. The back of each panel has an on and off button and a mode button for eight modes, and the last mode is remembered. The panel has screw holes outside its waterproof ring.

What to use it for

Each 8 m string can run along a fence or a shrub border, with the panel screwed in place where it gets direct sun.

Care and safety

Press the on and off button on the panel before the first charge, as the seller advises. Wipe the panels clean so they can charge.
