Globe fairy lights, 40 LEDs on 5 m, battery powered, 2 modes

About this product

The string has 40 warm white globe LEDs on a 5 m wire. It runs on 3 AA batteries, which are not included, and a sliding switch turns it on and off. The listing gives 2.5 watts, 80 lumens, a colour temperature of 2700 K and an IPX7 rating, and the set weighs 170 g.

There are two modes, steady and flashing. The description says the light is flicker free and warms up in under half a second. The material is listed as plastic. The usage line gives it as indoor, while the title and specifications call it waterproof and water resistant.

What to use it for

Five metres of globes can run along a mantelpiece or a shelf, or hang across a window, and the battery case keeps the string cordless.

Care and safety

Remove the batteries before storage and wipe the globes with a dry cloth. Keep the battery case dry.
