20 m outdoor fairy lights, 200 LEDs, remote, 3 timer modes, IP44

About this product

The lit string is 20 m long with 200 warm white LEDs, and a 3 m lead brings the total to 23 m. The cable is dark green, which the listing says fades into hedges and trees outdoors. It runs from the mains through a UK plug at 31 volts.

• 8 modes: steady on, in wave, sequential, slo-glo, chasing flash, fade, flash and combination
• 3 timer settings and 4 brightness levels of 25, 50, 75 and 100 per cent
• Memory function that keeps the last setting
• IP44 rating given for indoor and outdoor use

What to use it for

Use it on a garden tree, a gazebo or a fence, with the 3 m lead reaching the nearest socket. Indoors the 20 m length can go round a tree or along a wall.

Care and safety

Wind the string loosely round a card or a reel for storage so the cable does not kink. Keep the plug and the adapter out of standing water.
