This extra-large stand measures 57 x 57 x 21.5 cm. A green plastic pot sits on 4 red-coloured metal legs and holds 2.8 litres of water, so the stand follows the Christmas colours. It is made for real trees up to 2.5 m (8ft 2in) tall.

Trunks between 3.5 and 14.5 cm across fit, and four metal screws, supplied with the stand, hold the tree upright. At 57 cm wide and 21.5 cm high, the stand has a wide, low base. The listing names living rooms and conservatories as places for it and gives a 12-month manufacturer warranty.

What to use it for

The 14.5 cm trunk limit and 2.5 m height take large real trees as well as ordinary ones. Allow a 57 cm square of floor.

Care and safety

Empty the pot after use, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry before storing. Keep the metal screws dry.
