Colour-changing ceramic Christmas mug, Snowman Blue, with gift box

About this product

This ceramic mug has a heat-sensitive layer: it starts black, and the black fades to show a printed Christmas design once a hot drink is poured in. The listing is for the Snowman Blue version, and the pattern is printed by thermal sublimation.

The size is 12 oz, with listed dimensions of 7.9 cm wide and 12.1 cm tall. The mug is described as thick ceramic and comes in a colour gift box. It is microwave safe but not dishwasher safe, and the listing says to avoid long exposure to sunlight. Hot coffee, milk and tea are given as examples of drinks.

What to use it for

The design only shows once a hot drink is poured in, so this is a mug for coffee, tea, milk or other hot drinks rather than cold ones. The gift box means it can be handed over as a present.

Care and safety

Hand wash only, as the listing says, and not in the dishwasher. The listing also warns against scratching the printed design with sharp or hard tools.
