BRUBAKER Advent taper candles, 3 purple and 1 pink, 24 cm

About this product

Four Advent taper candles make up this set, three of them purple and one pink, made in Europe. The listing explains the usual tradition: purple candles on the first Sundays, the pink one joining them on the third, and all four lit on the Sunday before Christmas. The candles are described as odourless, burning cleanly and without smoke.

The specifications give a height of 24 cm, while the description says 10 inches (25.4 cm), with a diameter of about 0.9 inches (2.25 cm). The listing gives a burn time of about 7.5 hours per candle and says the self-adjusting end suits Advent wreaths and arrangements. The set weighs 245 g, the material is wax and the use is listed as decoration indoors.

What to use it for

Set them in an Advent wreath or arrangement and light them week by week as the listing describes. The adjustable end is meant to help the candles sit in wreath holders.

Care and safety

The listing says never to leave a burning candle without supervision, to keep the candles out of draughts and to keep them out of reach of children and pets.
