Hyoola Advent taper candles, 4 pack, 3 purple 1 pink, 30 cm

About this product

Three purple taper candles and a pink one make up this set, made in Europe. Each is 300 mm (12 inches) tall and about 20 mm across, and the listing says they fit standard Advent wreath candle holders. The wax is paraffin and the wicks are cotton, and the candles are unscented, smokeless and dripless, according to the listing.

The listing gives a burn time of 10 hours per candle. The set weighs 0.46 kg. The listing also gives a second size of 250 mm by 20 mm in brackets, without saying what it refers to, so check the product page for the exact length. The specifications state that the wax is free of lead, palm oil and soy. The purple and pink colours are described as representing the four weeks before Christmas.

What to use it for

Fit them into a standard Advent wreath, using the three purple candles and the pink one to mark the four weeks before Christmas, as the listing describes. At 300 mm they stand tall, so leave headroom above the wreath.

Care and safety

No burning instructions are listed. Store the candles flat in a cool place so the tapers do not bend.
