About this product
Five hundred multicolour LEDs sit 12 cm apart along 60 m of dark green wire, with a lead wire of about 3 m. The green wire is meant to blend in with hedges and branches. A remote controls 8 lighting modes, 4 brightness levels (100, 75, 50 and 25 per cent) and three timer settings, and a memory function keeps the last mode.
The string is rated IP44 and sold for outdoor use, but the listing states that the included plug is not waterproof and must be kept away from water. It runs from the mains through a plug listed as low voltage at 31 V. No weight or plug type is given.
What to use it for
At 60 m it covers a long hedge, a fence line or a large garden tree in one run, with the 3 m lead going back to a dry, sheltered socket.
Care and safety
Keep the plug dry, as the listing says it is not waterproof, and coil the 60 m wire loosely after use.
