2 x 2 m mains curtain lights, 204 LEDs, linkable up to 3 sets, remote

About this product

This curtain measures 2 x 2 m and carries 204 warm white LEDs on a clear cable, with about 5 m of cable between the lights and the UK 3-pin plug. The plug holds a 31 volt low-voltage transformer, and up to 3 sets connect end to end through the female and male plugs, with no other connector.

The remote sets a timer of 6 hours on and 18 hours off, and the lights remember their last setting after the power is cut. The remote works within 8 m of the plug, and the protective film on it has to be removed before use. It is rated IP44 and named for indoor and outdoor use, from windows and balconies to gazebos and walls.

What to use it for

With about 5 m of cable to the plug, the curtain can hang by a window while the plug stays near a socket. A second or third set can be linked on for a wider backdrop.

Care and safety

Peel the film off the remote before first use and keep the plug ends dry. Unplug the sets before linking them, and store the cable in loose coils.
