About this product
The snowman is a coloured PVC sheet with LED rope light wrapped around it, 96 cm high and 64 cm wide, in a skiing pose. The tubing is milk-coloured, which the seller says gives a crisper, neon-style glow. The 120 LEDs come in red, white, blue, green and yellow, matched to the colours of the face, clothes and skis, and the coloured image still shows when the lights are off.
A folding metal stand on the back lets it stand on its own, and the listing says it can also be mounted on a wall. It is rated 230 V for UK mains, with a 5 m cable and an IP44-rated transformer plug. The listing limits the plug to indoor sockets or IP66-rated sheltered outdoor ones.
What to use it for
Stand it near the front door on its folding stand, or fix it to a wall. The image shows in daylight, and the 5 m cable has to reach an indoor or sheltered socket.
Care and safety
Wipe the PVC sheet with a soft damp cloth and dry it, and keep the transformer plug under shelter. Fold the stand away for storage.
