About this product
Santa and a star are shaped in milk-coloured rope tubing, which the seller says gives a crisper, neon-style glow than clear tubing. The frame is metal, the piece is 127 cm high and 43 cm wide, and it weighs 1.5 kg. It carries 288 multicolour LEDs, spaced evenly along the tubing.
It comes in two parts that slot together, so it can be assembled and taken apart again, and it is made to be mounted on a wall. Power comes from UK mains through a transformer plug rated IP44 on a 5 m cable, which according to the listing belongs in an indoor socket or a sheltered outdoor socket rated IP66. The highlights list indoor and outdoor display, with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
What to use it for
Mount it on an outside wall by the front door, or on an indoor wall, leaving about 130 cm of height free. The 5 m cable has to reach an indoor socket or a sheltered outdoor one.
Care and safety
Dust the milk-coloured tubing with a dry cloth, then separate the two parts for storage and keep them together.
