About this product
This artificial cedar garland is 9 ft long, made from polyethylene (PE) needles in light-to-dark green tones on a bendable core that keeps the shape you give it. The listing asks you to fluff and separate the branches by hand to reach the full look shown in its photos.
70 LED lights are already wound through the branches. They run on 3 AA batteries, which are not included, and a built-in timer lights them for 6 hours and switches them off for 18 hours each day. There are 8 lighting modes, from steady on to twinkle and chasing; you press the button repeatedly to cycle through them. The listing gives IP44 water resistance and says it can be used indoors or outdoors.
What to use it for
At about 2.7 m it covers a 1.2 m mantelpiece with plenty left to drape at each side, or it can be wound along a banister. Because it runs on batteries, no socket has to be nearby.
Care and safety
Take the batteries out before you pack it away, and keep the garland loosely coiled so the needles hold their shape. Dust comes off with a dry cloth.
