2 waterproof flameless candles in dark ivory, 15 cm, with remote

About this product

The set has two plastic pillar candles in dark ivory, each 7.6 cm (3 in) wide and 15.2 cm (6 in) high, with a flickering LED flame. The listing sells them for outdoor use and calls them waterproof, quoting an IP55 rating, with a slanted top so rain does not collect on the wick.

One remote control comes in the set, with button batteries. It switches between flickering and steady light, changes the brightness and sets a timer of 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours that repeats each day. The candles run on batteries, but the listing does not say how many they take or whether they are supplied.

What to use it for

A patio table suits them outdoors, and a mantelpiece or windowsill indoors, as the listing names both indoor and outdoor use. The remote helps when they sit out of reach.

Care and safety

When the plastic is dusty or splashed, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it. Take the batteries out of both candles and the remote before storing them for the year.
